This post is in support of adults who suffered narcissistic abuse as children; who might have pondered for years, “what is going on in my family.” In adulthood, you might continue to endure emotional pain and psychological distress from your parents. My hope is that you will connect with the feelings as well as experiences within my writing, be able to pinpoint the maltreatment that has been happening for years, then reach out for help. Your childhood abuse is likely affecting your present-day self-concept, relationships, and living. Acknowledging, confronting, and accepting the mistreatment in your childhood can assist in overcoming your lifetime of agony.
